Kaleidoscope Learning Circle, llc.
For the last two decades, as the founder of Kaleidoscope Learning Circle, I’ve created, hosted, and facilitated programs, classes, and presented at conferences. I’ve helped thousands of people, and many horses, experience authentic connection, overcoming limiting beliefs, and recognizing self-actualization. My learner-centered, competency-based lens comes from many lived experiences, both gut-wrenchingly dark and spirit-lifting light. All of which I am truly grateful for (most days)!
I named my company Kaleidoscope, because I firmly believe, and know to be true, that we have choices regarding HOW we respond to a situation or set of facts. By “turning” the kaleidoscope and shifting our perspective, we have the power to intentionally respond in ways that enhance, rather than harm. My passion is to help people find the best lever to turn, rearranging the contents to create desired outcomes and new possibilities.
Expertise …
For those who prefer a list of accomplishments, I am happy to share my Dr. Tracy Weber’s vita.
This list of accomplishments, career and educational experiences, presentations, awards, etc., is accurate and represents a wide range of professional efforts and achievements - of which I am very proud. What it doesn’t tell you about are all the amazing friendships and relationships that these experiences represent. Between the lines are the stories of healthy conflict leading to better outcomes, tears of participants experiencing breakthroughs, and life-changing transitions, working hard to exceed expectations and sometimes (thankfully not too many) re-castings of “failure” as lessons to be learned and wisdom offered from a higher power.
With a Ph.D. in Leadership and as a life-long learner, I am always seeking new and better research, resources, and tools to craft and design lasting, impactful results. My approach is to customize each experience to reach mutually agreed upon outcomes. From Dubai to Croatia, and throughout most of the United States, I’ve facilitated engaging and paradigm-changing experiences with and without my equine partners for diverse audiences. My style is improvisational (staying present in the moment) focusing on community, connection, and systemic interconnection. My facilitated equine-assisted learning experiences offer an intentional practice field with live feedback from the horses and educated, thought-provoking, and empathetic inquiry from me.
My professional vita also doesn’t tell you about the countless books, podcasts, webinars, documentaries, and other geeky mind-candy that I devour on a regular basis. The book Range by David Epstein speaks to the power in being a generalist. Instead of specializing in one modality or tool, I bring a breadth of expertise, the ability to pull from a wide variety, or range, of experiences offering a deep and diverse pool from which to draw. This describes my adaptability, flexibility, and nimbleness in creating, delivering, and facilitating workshops, courses, and programs. I’m a gatherer of relationships, ideas, resources which I store and re-visit depending upon the client’s desired outcomes or the project. For most of my adult life (I know this because I’ve have archived examples), I’ve deepened my understanding of certain themes - systems, how & why humans do what they do, and the natural world.
Personally, the road of life I’ve travelled features many hills, valleys, and even a few natural disasters (not kidding). Visit My Story for a little personal background using pictures to tell the story.
